Morálka péče - vznik, ohlasy a pokračování z pohledu psychologie morálky

Zásadní předěl v pojetí psychologie morálky a v její metodologii znamenal Gilliganové výzkum žen zvažujících interrupci. Použitím dilematu z reálného života objevila novou oblast morálky. Gilliganové práce čelila značné metodologické kritice. Předpoklad, že existuje mužská a ženská morálka, nebyl dalšími výzkumy potvrzen. Obecně uznávány jsou však paralelně vedle sebe existující dvě morální orientace - na péči a na spravedlnost. Z tohoto základu vychází poměrně mladý filozofický proud etiky péče. Východiskem je perspektiva péče soustředící se na potřeby lidí, vylepšování skutečných vztahů a rozvíjení citlivosti vůči aktuální situaci.
