Soudržnost komunity a sociální učení církve ve světle virových omezení

Nedávná společenská omezení reagující na riziko šíření viru vrhla světlo na řadu problémů ve společnosti, z nichž mnohé – alespoň do určité míry – řeší sociální nauka církve svým učením o subsidiaritě, participaci a solidaritě. Tento článek se snaží ukázat, že rozvíjení přítomnosti těchto učení v porozumění a dialogu, aby mohly být vhodným způsobem a na vhodném místě implementovány na místní úrovni, což může vést k širší diskusi o soudržnosti a rozvoji komunity, by prospělo jak komunitám, tak i jednotlivcům, a tím celé společnosti a obecnému dobru. Učení církve v těchto třech oblastech je reflektováno ve světle nedávných restrikcí a také našeho povolání rozvíjet nejen učení církve, ale zároveň i naši připravenost a schopnost jej vysvětlit, včetně zdroje tohoto učení, jsme-li k tomu vyzváni. Proto tento článek nedochází pouze k závěru, že je možné, aby subsidiarita, participace a solidarita pomáhaly rozvíjet a zlepšovat soudržnost komunity, ale také že výzvy Písma a II. vatikánského koncilu k připravenosti a sdílení vlastního přesvědčení zahrnují tuto oblast našich životů. Lze je rozvíjet větším zastoupením sociální nauky církve v širším vzdělávání, zejména – avšak nikoli výhradně – na univerzitní úrovni a v kněžské formaci, a také účinnější prezentací těchto myšlenek v rámci dialogu s ostatními v místních komunitách, což by komunitám mohlo dopomoci k lepší připravenosti na neočekávané situace v budoucnu.
